This delicious miso-almond sauce is great on bowls! Miso is a seasoning made by fermenting soybeans.

Makes 1 ¾ cups.


  • 5 tbsp light miso
  • 7 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 cup boiling water


  1. Place the miso and almond butter in a medium sized bowl. Add half of the water and mash with a spoon until it becomes a uniform paste. Add the remaining water, and mix until well combined.
  2. Serve over hot steamed vegetables and tofu, or mix into hot soba noodles.
